I'm taking off my post-ban stock and replacing it with the Ace SOCOM, should I use FP10 or TW25B on the spring inside the tube

Use either, or use none. Doesn't matter much. If you decide to use something, use it very sparingly. It'll attract dirt.

I guess that's why it always makes that bizarre "sprong" when you fire off a round, many thanks for the answer.

I use tw25b and a lot of it. after firing  50 rounds shoulder has a bit of  grease on it. Steel spring going aginast Al. I'll grease it and it gets rid of that sprong sound.
