I just got one today because I figure it is something I might eventually need. After looking at it, I have no idea how this thing would work. Any help? Chip |
| If/when your extractor rips the base off of a spent case, you put the broken shell extractor into your chamber(inside the broken shell) and close your bolt. The broken shell extractor has "fingers" with tabs that grab the broken case by the mouth, and your extractor(in your bolt) holds the rim of the broken shell extractor. Then pull open the bolt, and voila! The broken case comes out like a spent shell does. Don't forget to retrieve your broken shell extractor from the floor, and remove the broken case from it, for the next use. |
