I have a friend at work that has given me (3) bottles of a Mil-Spec Bore Cleaner.

It is in a O.D. Bottle with a black cap.

Do any of you know about this cleaner?
Is it safe for use on Chrome Lined Barrels?
Any information about this would be helpful.

Thanks

Its standard military rifle bore cleaner. Do a google search for 6850-224-6656 or MIL-C-372B for more info.

Most likely this bore cleaner will not remove copper fouling. Also, as old as it is it may not do much of anything. Personally, I would find a modern day bore cleaner that also removes copper fouling and save those bottles as souveniers.

Thanks.  I had not thought of the age of the product.  The bottels are still sealed with the
plastic shrink wrap to keep it air tight.  I normally use Shooters Choice or CLP.

thanks again
