Is it me ? or am I missing something? How do you release the pin with out scratching up and or marring it (the pin) or the surrounding area.? I've got the manual seen the tool and figured I could come up with something better. How do you do it.? Thanks Dave |

If you look at the pivot pin you'll see a small hole running through it near the non-head end... Pull the pin open until it is secured by the detent and spring, insert a small wire or bent paper clip into the hole and push the detent back while you rotate the pin to clear the detent cut-out. Pull out the pivot pin but beware you don't shoot the detent and spring off into space... |
