I just got a Bushy A3 Carbine- the guys at the shop say I don't really need to use bore guides,muzzle guides etc since I'm not going for match grade shooting. Chrome barrel & all that. Any feed back would be welcome!!

I would not clean ANY of my rifles without one. You risk damaging the chrome lining or your rifling, even if you are not going for match acuracy. See the thread below for some useful info. Tommy GPSS
