I just bought a bottle of this stuff at the local gun show.  (www.gun-guard.com)

it's supposed to be a "dry lubricant" and protectant...i was wondering if anyone ever used this stuff on their AR?

I was thinking about cleaning all oil and grease out of my gun and using only this to lube it, but i'm sceptical about it's claims...is it safe to rely on this to lube the whole weapon including the buffer spring?

Basicly i just want to know if my rifle will function just as good or better with gun-guard or militec instead of heavy grease and oil.
