Is it possible to remove the FCG too much? I was playing around today and removed the FCG several times to get proficient at removing and installing it. Can doing this cause any problems? Thanks, Bradd |
| Removing the FCG is a bad idea unless you need to replace a part, or it's been a few thousand rounds and you want to do a thorough cleaning. Frequent removal will cause the pin holes to "loosen up". Once those holes get out of spec. (even a little), then you will have problems. So, just leave them alone unless there is a problem. HTH |

What A_G said was right on the money If you need practice buy a few more rifle kits and put them together. : ) honestly though its an ALUMINUM lower you can put lots of wear on it easily. (don't worry though there are oversized pins that will correct any problems you could cause (although the oversized pins will cause a lot more wear if removed and re-assembled often.) |
