Because you are mentioning a screw pin, I assume you are referencing a Colt part. I use the blue locktite. But there are better choices. If you have a .312 dia front pin, get a push pin from DPMS. Works like a dream and there is never a requirement for 2 screw drivers. If you are refering to a later series Colt that has the smaller .250 pin, your options are even better. You can buy the same style pin but in a smaller dia. or you can get the GI style pin assy and change it out to what fits best. |
