Have two builds, one 7.62x39 and the other in 223. Both have light comp trigger springs and experiencing the same result when shooting Russian bulk ammo (tulammo). Random non-firing rounds, they have visible primer strikes but did not fire. I load into another non Ar format weapon and fires without issue.

Fairly new to this weapon format and not sure which way to go. Have been told its because i have comp trigger springs and not striking primer hard enough. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Can i change firing pin spring to hit harder or should i go to a titanium pin for faster, harder strike?

Unless you've added them, the AR platform does not use a firing pin spring.  A standard HAMMER spring will provide more oomph if you're having light strikes with your current setup.

You could opt for the Ti firing pin, instead, and see if the lighter weight will let you run with your light hammer spring - 6 of one, half a dozen of the other.

Make sure your hammer spring is on the correct way, so when the hammer cocks back that the spring is winding tighter.  I would also suggest trying a standard hammer spring to make sure that you have enough spring tension to allow reliable primer ignition.  When teaching armorer courses, it is our recommendation that the minimal trigger press be 4.5-Lbs for reliable ignition.
