Shop took this M&P 15-22 in on trade, and I cannot figure out who the hell makes this trigger. Feels like a very light single stage when fired.
No markings on the trigger group what so ever. Any ideas? This was in a standard 15-22 with KNS pins, and nobody bothered to ask the customer what trigger he put in it.

Yep, Jard.

The front set screw is to adjust trigger take up,  back set screw is used to adjust trigger over travel, while the set bolt on the disco tail is used to set the second stage release point crisp.

As for adjusting the trigger, start with trigger take up, and tighten the front set screw down with the selector set on safe.  As you are adjusting the front set screw, flip the selector from safe to fire (back and forth) and the set screw is adjusted correctly when you get a slight hint of bind on the selector flipping back and forth.

On the rear over travel set screw, hold the trigger back and move the hammer by hand from cocked to fully forward as you are tighting up the set screw.  When you get to the point that the hammer just barely releases from the trigger sear, back the screw out about 1/4 wind and its set.

On the disco set bolt to set the second stage, the second stage tension is created by the trigger disco sear making contact to the hammer just below it sear.   So if you adjust the set bolt too high, then the second stage increase tension will start before the trigger is just about to release.   Bolt set too lower and there will not be any increased second stage tension.  Simply here, you are adjust the disco so it will add increase trigger tension a hair just before the trigger sear releases the hammer.

And, you need to use Blue loctite on all the set screw bolts, so when you start adjusting, you have a short time to get the adjustments correct before the loctite starts to set up.
