I had built my girlfriend an AR whithis le I was stationed in Washington. Just recently got to where we were shooting it all, put a Sig Sauer red dot on it but recently decided to put BUIS on it so that she could also work on practicing that skill. Upper is a complete SAA gas block upper I bout at their store in Tacoma, WA and lower is an Aero Precision lower. This is the first AR I've had with a gas block and I purchased an used YHM front sight and used a MaTech rear sight I had living around. I mechanically zeroed the rifle before taking it to the range but once I fired my first few shots they all hit extremely low. I adjusted and adjusted until I could adjust no more and am still hitting about a foot low on my poa. I had another friend who is also extremely familiar with sighting I'm ARs  and still same thing. Only thing I can figure is the sights aren't on the same plane. If so, what sights can I get to remedy this problem. Was able to sight in my A2 Fsbs with no problem. I blame it on the rifle being pink

i would say first buy a complete set, both by same manufacturer and try that first

I glanced at a couple of the complete uppers offered on the SAA site, and it looked like their railed gas block is receiver-height. YHM makes front sights for both rail-height and gas-block height: if you wound up with the taller gas block-height sight, that would make the rifle print low.

Do you have a small file? Shorten the front sight post. This ain't the Army, you can do that if you want. :) At worst, you ruin a $1.00 part.

This.

Ensure that your front sight is the proper model for the gas block height.  Sounds like, as GSM stated, you have a gas block sight on a rail-height gas block.
