Having so many problems with my new AR build. I am a noob and this is my first build, so please be nice. It is possible I may have done something wrong. I'm not sure where to begin so I will go over my build then describe the problems. The AR I built is a 16" Core 15 barrel in 300 blk, with a Core 15 barrel nut, low profile gas block and gas tube. I used a Windham weaponry stripped upper and the lower is a RRA. To start off the gun was short stroking. Not only that but I got 1 rnd to eject and the next round fired but the casing got stuck in the barrel. not only that but the casings were scratched all down the sides and a portion of the rim had been sheared off. After doing some research I figured the gas block may not have been aligned properly. Turns out I was right, it was off by about 1/16". So I fixed that. Problem solved right? No. After taking the rifle apart fixing the gas block and cleaning I took it back to the range. First round I fired shot and ejected but the rim was still damaged slightly. I loaded a 3 more rnds to see if it would at least continuously eject rnds, and it did eject the first rnd, cycle the second into the chamber, fire, then the second casing got stuck and the third was in the process of loading. That was enough for me to get frustrated and go home for the day. But after inspecting the rifle I noticed a new possibly more severe problem. I now have small scrathes running down the entire length of the inside of the barrel! I have no idea what they could be from. At first I thought it was just copper fouling, but after running a scribe into the chamber along the scratches, it appears that they are fairly deep scratches. So to sum up. I know this is a long post but I am at my wits end with this gun. If anyone could provide assistance it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Not to be a smart ass but....  You are aware the barrels have rifling in them?

Does it look something like this?

Yes I am aware. The scratches run straight down the barrel against the rifling. They are pretty bad inside the chamber, and I have also noticed that the spent casings have scratches on them as well...I am going to try and get a good picture to upload.
