I have a Del-Ton barrel with a factory installed FSB. I've tried driving the pins from the small side and they won't budge - trim hammer, framing hammer, brass punch, steel punch - nothing. I haven't tried heating freezing or penetrating oil, but given the fact that there is no movement, I doubt any of those things would help and I plan to drill them out. Anyone disagree with my train of thought? Thanks.

Yea DelTon does one hell of a job putting them FSB's on!  I pulled one off a mid lenght upper from them, I bent two very good quality punches. You have to have the FSB supported by something very solid and use a tappered starter punch to get them started but they will come out.

Thanks for the comment. The barrel and fsb r supported and the steel punches were starters.

Tapered pins 1
Drive pins 1

Finally got em out. Had to grind the head of one of the pins. Need to buy new punches now.

Them things feel like they are pressed in there dont they! I bent two punches from SnapOn before I grabbed the starter punch. Think the SnapOn guy will replace my punches for me? LOL
