Need some help troubleshooting a trigger problem on my AR.
This issue just started today.

Lower is a Spike's w/ Geissele Super Dynamic 3 Gun trigger(installed by me).
Lower is mated to a CMMG 22LR upper.
Gun has had two range sessions with this trigger. 1st trip ~400rds no problems. 2nd trip(today) ~600rds, with trouble starting at about round 500.
The problem - trigger does not seem to be resetting. Prevents firing when trigger is pulled.
Hammer cocks back far enough that disconnector hooks on the hammer safety notch. Then when trigger is pulled the hammer does not release.
It appears the disconnector will not move. I can press on the tail of the disconnector and it releases the safety notch on the hammer. Then the hammer will drop on trigger pull.
When the hammer is cocked and attempting to place safety from FIRE position to SAFE position, the safety binds about 1/4 of the way to SAFE. If I firmly push the safety it clicks/moves the disconnector enough where it releases the hammer safety notch.
Any ideas before I tear it down?

Removed the trigger.
It was pretty nasty with fouling and several slivers of lead.. Good old 22LR.
I cleaned each piece of the trigger assembly and trigger area in the lower.
Re-assembled.Now the trigger and safety work as normal.
I guess one of those metal slivers got underneath the disconnector and held it up.

Best guess, you have a piece of blown primer hiding under the trigger.

Pull the trigger, check the receiver void for debris, Lube the FCG parts, reinstall, then re-adjust the trigger.

Not that you'd probably want to do this on your rifle, but a lot of Match AR shooters are applying a thick coat of grease to the sides of the trigger well in the lower.
The heavy grease tends to catch and hold blown primers and assorted grit and foreign matter and prevents it from getting into the trigger unit and causing these problems.
