I installed a DD LPK in my Noveske stripped lower, attached it to my Noveske Upper and have run approximately 1,000 rounds through it with no issues. Recently however, when dry firing, holding the trigger back and handcycling the bolt then letting the trigger SLOOOOOOOOWWWWly reset, the trigger will reset and immediately fire while I'm still applying light pressure. If I let off the trigger a little quicker it resets normally.
What issues am I having? Is there a weak spring? Like I said I have never had an issue when actually firing the gun and resetting the trigger, only when hand cycling. Is this something I need to worry about? |

Did you do any polishing? The hammer notch is probably worn and not catching when you slowly let out the trigger. You should probably just put a new FCG in there. Man that sucks. Only 1,000 rounds. DD is supposed to be top quality stuff. I really like the trigger otherwise, it is nice and crisp, no grit at all. Which parts exactly do you think I should change out? ETA: I've done no polishing or any other mods. |

The problem is the free gap between the hammer rear sear and the disc hook with the hammer at rest.
With the upper alone, and the trigger not touched, cock the hammer back until you can get the hammer's rear sear as close to the disco hook as possible. The free gap between the two should be in the .001 to .003 range (thickness of a human hair). If you find this gap greater, then remove the disco, and on the front/bottom of the disco where it seats against the top/front of the trigger, remove metal on the disco so it cam's more forward with the trigger at rest (read will increase the disco retention time of the hammer on trigger release, which allows the trigger front primary sear to get into the correct needed position to catch the hammer primary lower lob sear just before the trigger come back to it's full rest in the triggers forward position). |

Whew, I think I need a diagram or something. I'm not sure I'm visualizing all this correctly. |
