My first build went as smooth as can be so I figured this one would be no problem either....now it's been one problem after another

I purchased a WOA 16in stainless barrel (this one http://www.rainierarms.com/?page=shop/detail&product_id=600) and was under the assumption that .750 gas block is what it requires; however that could very well be where I went wrong, but I can't find any evidence to support that theory. Anyway, I was all stoked to finally put everything together, slid my VLTOR gas block down the barrel just to discover it wont even begin to slide down to the gas port.

At first I thought I ordered, or was sent, the wrong size block but I checked, double checked and checked again to insure it's .75in. So right now I pretty bummed and frustrated as I was looking to take some girls out shooting this weekend with a new upper but that's kind of looking like a no go now .

What should I do from here Arfcom?

TL;DR: Gas block won't fit barrel and I'm not sure if it's even the right size but then I can't seem to find info on the barrel.

Without rifle = No range fun with girls = No pics

My micrometer is far from top notch, but it's looking like .750'' on the dot

I've used a couple of the WOA SS bead blasted barrels and both times the GB I was trying to install was a super tight fit. The first GB I used was an older style DD clamp on version so a little spreading of the split bottom of the GB with a flat head screwdriver got her to finally slide into place. The second GB was a solid set screw type like the VLTOR but I don't remember the manufacturer and on that one I ended up running some 800 grit sandpaper around the inside of the GB to get it to fit.

I use a brake piston hone to do this on AR,s and more so on AK barrel hardware...... they have them at PEP Boys and Autozones.....Looks like a cylinder hone but much smaller///

Thank you all for the input and suggestions, I was worried there for a bit but now, after a tiny bit of sanding, it's looking all good to go
