Tested my first build today and had some trouble with the buffer retainer coming out and jamming up the weapon. Is anyone familiar with something like this and know a fix?

I gotta ask:

How did it get out passed the buffer tube?

It's an interference fit.

buffer tube may need to go in one more rotation

The front of the tube should even so lightly kiss the center of the buffer retaining pin.

If a fixed stock receiver extension, then you may need to face the stop collar on the tube so it can be threaded enough to achieve such.  If a carbine receiver extension, then again, you may need to face the front of the tube so it can be threaded in another turn to not only correctly index for the butt stock, but to also kiss the center of the buffer retaining pin as well.
