AR 15 Double tapping!
I have a problem; my rifle keeps double tapping on the second and third shot, it stops on the third and on the fifth and sixth does it again, I have changed uppers and still double taps. I have changed triggers (both RRA National Match) this did not solve the problem. Any Help?? |

Are you sure that the disco spring is in place?
Is the disco moving freely in the trigger (just having spring tension) and not binding up in the trigger slot? Are you using the correct size pin FCG for the receiver, hence not .174 FCG on .154 pins? Lastly, what is the age of the disco springs, hence are the old and weak (over 2K rounds on the old style trigger) and now not holding the trigger correctly. |
