My Model 1 carry handle has a loose back section that swivels back and forth. It's off about an 8th of an inch to the left. Windage and elevation work OK, I just don't know how to tighten that piece up! Thanks

There should be a spring and detent ball in the upper part of the sight that pushes against the carrier handle.  This spring and ball load the sight to take out the slack.  It should be free to move when turned but the spring will bring it back to the same position when you let go of it.  If the spring and ball are missing, the rear sight will be floppy and not return to the same position when you let go of it.  I have seen a cheap airsoft removable carry handle with a rear sight that was not even drilled for the spring and ball so I know there are some flaky ones out there.

In short, if you twist the sight and it snaps back to the spring loaded position, you are good to go.  If it is just free to twist and there is no spring to snap it back, you are missing something or you have a junk rear sight.

See the picture at the the link: http://www.parts4ar15.com/images/parts/A2-Upper2.jpg

The parts you are looking for that make it snap back are #4 & #5.

Have FUN!
