This is the 2nd pin to break in my ST22.. its a Spikes tactical dedicated upper and a Spikes tactical lower with a Jard trigger and DPMS lower parts kit.

They are breaking perfectly in the center...

Im goin to put my DPMS trigger in it and put some rounds thru it and put  the Jard in my Delton lower..

I have another Jard trigger in my Bull Barrel AR .223 and have thousands of rounds thru it with no problems.

.22 conversions are rough on trigger pins.  Your case is not isolated.

A stainless steel or titanium trigger pin is probably a good investment for your .22 setup.

Blow back actions in general on hammer pins, and you might want to look at the KNS support pins to help resolve some of the problem on there.  As for the trigger pin, that gets self destructed with the hammer is allowed to rebound off the disco or back of hammer tail too hard, so you might want to check the degree that the hammer has to both the back of the tail of the trigger disco tail, and the top of the disco hook, and adjust the tail of the hammer so both are the same.  Plus again, KNS non grooved trigger pin will help out a lot as well.

This energy of the hammer transferred to the hammer retaining pin , may cause the holes to wallow out over time.

Don't have a conversion kit but it seems to be a common problem.  Find them interesting, but for now that's all.

It's a failure prone part, on a tool.  If round count can be estimated between the two failures.  Divide by (?) % percent and replace two $1 parts,
prior to failure and possible damage to the lower.

Or just change them at the Spring ahead Fall back time
