After waiting 7 months to get my upper and complete my build I finally shot it today at the range. First 150 rounds were flawless. Then after shooting a few rounds i noticed the charging handle jump back about an inch, I locked it back in place, happened two or three more times about 10-15 rounds apart. Then I notice, although it feels and sounds like the handle is being locked back into place when i push it, it is actually sitting on the very edge but the latch isnt locking into the upper receiver groove. I thought it might be my BUS so I moved it forward, still wont lock, I cant see it catching on anything so now I get to call Rock River on monday and explain the problem to them. Anyone ever see this???

I had that same exact problem with a CMT/Stag charging handle. I tried it on multiple uppers but it wouldn't latch... I had to replace it. |
