Ok so i was reading the sticky but didnt see the answer I was looking for. I have a 5.56/.223 I work with mil M4s daily and cant figure out what is going on with mine, out of a 30rd mag maybe 10 of them fired. I took it in to work and gauged the whole thing and checked the firing pin all came up good Ive used wolf .223, reloads from a buddy ,and one other .223 like wolf, I was able to fire a couple of 5.56 tracer rounds out of it but other then that nothing really. Im at a lost and losing sleep because it just driving me crazy plus someone a little guidance.

Hammer spring orientation correct, and the legs of it resting on the top of the trigger pin?
Firing pin protrusion out the face of the bolt with the back end of it tight up against the back of the bolt between .032 and .037? Bolt fully locking up each cycle, hence the chamber correctly chamber brushed cleaned, and the upper bearing surfaces correctly lubed with CLP? |

the reloads fired maybe 5 out of 10 the wolf was just crap none of the ones i had in my mag fired but they had fired before, I also tried some 5.56 mil ball rounds and none of those fired either. Weapon is clean I recleaned it right after it started missfiring. Spring is correct I was thinking I just got a bad box of primers, and the firing pin is fine I re gauged it last night and tore the whole thing down and went through it. Im going to take it in to work this morn and have my civi tech o through it also since he is doing all the mil wepons this week. Thanks for the replies keep yall updated

hammer spring was out of wack it was set up right butit didnt have enough tension replaced and she does well.
