This rifles dust cover will not close after a few times being open. The local shop took 5 off the shelf for this reason.
It took twice for mine to become un-closeable. Have not fired it yet. On another point I wonder if the Germans over engineered it. My made in the USA dedicated .22 M4 upper does work quite well. If you have one of these rifles and have problems please let me and Colt know. Thanks Jeff |
| I had my eye on them, and finally the funshop here had 4 -5 in. I asked to hold one, and it felt like a toy. I fondled a few, the one with the rails felt the cheapest. I'm pretty sure they are plastic. If not, I don't know what they are. I told the guy that they were cheap feeling as all hell. He just kinda gave me the "I know.... but." look. He knows they are cheap junk. I'm getting a Spikes dedicated .22 upper so I will have a rifle I think. |
