I did a M&A M-4 build with a 16" barrel and standard Carbine buffer buffer. M&A supplied the BCG.The gun would have a faliure to extract every once in awhile and eject at 1- 2 oclock position which is discerning  in my sight picture. I changed the Heavy carbine ( Black)  extractor Spring with the standard "Blue" one and it runs 100% and ejects at 3-4 Oclock postion.
With this in mind I recently did another M-4 Build with a 14.5 barrel and a H buffer and a Bravo company BCG. Everybody told me to leave the Heavy spring that Bravo put in there alone. So I did and yesterday that gun ran 100% and Ejected at 3-4 oclock.
The only two things that comes to mind is the Bravo BCG is a full auto one and It has the "Heavy Buffer" Compared to the standard carbine one.
They both run 100% so I will probably not mess with anything, But I was wondering why the M&A wouldn't run with the extractor spring they supply?
The Bravo BCG passes the head stand test and the M&A doesn't. But if held upside down the Bolt doesn't drop out of the carrier and Quib says this is O.K.
I have another new Bravo BCG tucked away. Should I run that in the M&A or run the M&A BCG until it gives up the ghost?

M&A gun needs to get a new spring and buffer (Bushy has them in stock as of last week) and still if then the shells eject too much past 4 oclock, change the ejector spring back to prevent the bolt from 'catching' the spent shells.. BTW, is The  M&A chrome lined, the chrome molly will also 'retard' ejection back to 2-3- oclock.  ETA this is assumming that your using brass ammo, and that the ejector and exstactor are working, and that the bolt head is 'broken in' to that barrel extention

Both guns are now ejecting at about 3 oclock and 100%
M&A gun has a 16" barrel
New build has a 14.5 barrel
M&A  gun as a regular BCG with the standard "Blue" Extractor spring
New build has a Full atuo BCG with the heavy "Black" Extractor spring
M&A has a standard Carbine buffer
New build has a "H" buffer
Both I assume have the regular standard buffer spring

Both guns are relativly new bulds so no spring can be worn out yet.

I probably shouldn't complain because both run 100% now.
I'm just curios why the M&A gun would'n't run 100% with the Heavy extractor spring. I was wondering if the "H" buffer or the heavier full auto carrier plays a part in this?
