I recently put together a Nosveske lower, when I tested fired it I could hear a -for lack of a better term- springy “boing” noise coming from the buffer tube.  For comparison I have a factory built 6920 which doesn’t make a noise at all. Spring, H buffer, buffer tube are mil-spec CMT, I think. Any ideas? Thanks

i get the same thing. i suggest either a heavier buffer or a hydraulic buffer.

I used some grease on mine, and it dampened the noise considerably.

i greased mine ,no more spring noise, springs that are in a hole like that is should be lubed like anything else, unless you like to hear it

the ones that have the spring noise always run without fail also acts as a last round identifier

like i said mine is greased, never had a failure due to it , and can still feel when the last round is fired, to each his own

Yup I had that noise then oiled up the tube and it went away.
