Take the selector spring and detent out and then remove the selector, and then the hammer may be easier to remove.

If your selector sticks it is most likely because the detent is jammed up in the slot that is cut into the selector where the detent rides.  Loosen your pistol grip and pull the grip off a bit.  This will reduce the spring pressure on your detent.  If your selector can be easily moved at that point then take it out and look at it.  There could be metal burs on it or some such thing (or maybe the wrong detent is in there).  If so replace parts.  They are cheap.  There are instructions on how to assemble a lower in the "build it yourself area".  Check that out for directions if mine are not clear.

So... Sounds like you have a cool looking paperweight,  Just a little gun grease on the detent may be enough.
You can cut  the detent spring to make the selector move easier. Cut alittle off, lube and reassemble, repeat as necessary.
One more thing... The end of the detent that hits the selector should be rounded. If if is flat, it has been broken and someone put it back and sold the rifle, Just replace it.

Or after market pistol grip with the spring channel in the grip too short, or the spring too long.

As noted, clip a coil or two off the spring if just loosing the grip makes the selector turn much easier.
