I purchased a six position stock to replace my fixed stock on a Bushmaster Rifle purchased durning the ban.

The six position stock only came with a only a spring.  This was bought cheap at a gun show (now I know why).

A friend of mine was putting it on this weekend for me.  After it was on we chould not do a function check because the bolt would only come back an inch or so.

Do you have to have a shorter lenght buffer assembly?  We attempted to use the existing buffer assembly.  Is this where we screwed up?

The tele-stock requires both a shorter spring and a shorter buffer; check any of the listed suppliers for carbine stock components.
