| so i recently purchasede a sig 556 swat rifle. my 1st day firing it i used wolf ammo (i got 1000 55grain .223 ammo for 170 bucks) i used the sig 30 round mag, a magpul 30 round mag, and a standard military 30 round mag. well the reciever would discharge the shell casing after firing but not feed a new round into the chamber. not once with all three mags. i next tried some higher quality remington ammo and the rifle shot as desired. no problem auto loading. anyone have any problems with cheaper ammo like wolf. is there anything that can be done about it? hate to not be able to use all that ammo with my rifle...thanks |
| I also had problems with Wolf Ammo. Rifle would Short Stroke as yours seems to be doing. Any other ammo would fire with no problems. I'd like to say stay away from wolf but the price is right if it fires well. I found out that I had bought a "bad" lot of wolf I only remember the lot # ended in 19. The other #'s fired fine. |
