| I ordered a Lasermax UNI-RED unit from the AR-15 store a few months back and just recently used it at the range on my AR pistol. The first time I turned it on and fired it went off and won't come back on. Is there a trick I'm not doing or have I killed it? I would think that the recoil would be Ok for it since it is about the same as my 16" AR. I know it's not too much $, but for $130 something it should last longer than 1 shot I would think. Help! Any input would be appreciated. I have emailed Lasermax. |
| It might be broke, but before I sent it back I'd check a couple of things, if you haven't already. First make sure the battreies are good and the connections are clean. Then I'd check to see if there is any dirt or debris affecting the on/off switch. Then I'd turn the little switch that changes the laser from steady to pulse a couple of times. If none of that works and the lens isn't completely covered or something weird, I'd send it back to the factory. |
