| Was looking over the rifle before going to the range and the dtent that retains the buffer is stuck. It was stuck in the up position so I tapped it downwards and now it's stuck almost all the way down. Any suggestions? I took the buttstock / tube assy off already and have tried pulling it back out with pliers, still no go. |

Squirt it with some penetrating oil and try working it in and out. It hopefully will loosen up. If and when it does, remove the detent and spring. Check for the presence of corrosion and then you can decide on what can be cleaned up, and what might need to be replaced. In the future, make placing a couple drops of CLP on all your detents and springs a part of your routine maintenance. |

This is almost a brand new rifle. I lightly lubed all the parts when I put it together. Got it out with a good pair of pliers and another set of hands. It was really hard to get out. Ends up that Loctite got in there and jammed it in place. Fixed it and got to the range in time. Thanks for the help. |
RRA or Fulton Armory? Nevermind you did it |
