The trigger pin in my RRA lower walks after just a couple of shots. I notice that the hammer has a "J" pin to hold the hammer pin.  It seems like there should be something similar to hold the trigger pin. Am I missing something?  Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but I'm new to AR's and the guy who sold it to me was a crook so it's hard to tell what's actually happened to this thing.

Wow, I just flipped it around and my problem seems to be solved.  I feel dumb...

That's why we have this board.  I have been building M16's and AR15's for years.  A few months ago I did some work on my 607 upper.  I installed the gas tube in upside down.  When I went to shoot it, and the bolt carrier did not even come back at all, I realized what I had done.  We all do this kind of stuff, but the people on these boards are helpful when you cannot see the forest for the trees kind of issue.

Also make sure the hammer spring rests on top of the trigger pin, one side of the hammer spring acutally lock into the grove on the trigger pin.
