| Is anyone having problems with their magpul UBR and shortstroking or locking back the bolt after the last shot. Ive been having this problem since i put the stock on. alot of it was a gas problem with my gas tube, but when i added a different lower with just a standard carbine buffer tube i didn't have any problems, as soon as i added the lower that had the magpul ubr on it, i had problems with all ammo except for federal 55gr m193. problems include short stroke, ftf and not locking back after the last round |

Pull the buffer/spring and may sure nothing is protruding into the ID of the tube cavity. Also, pull back on the Ch and lock the bolt on the catch by hand. Make sure that the last inch or so of the CH pull is the same as the pull from about the half way mark back and the bolt is retracted back past the catch (face of the bolt stopping about 1/4" to 3/8" in front of the back of ejection port (read catch is retaining the bolt by rising up in front of the bolt face, not just grabbing the bottom of the carrier). |
