I have a 7.5 inch DPMS upper on a Bushmaster lower with an Ace pistil kit buffer tube, bufffer and spring. the problem is every 3rd or 4th round the extractor drops the spent casing and I get a double feed. Before I added an "O" ring to the extractor spring it was every round. I'm ordering a spring upgrade kit and heavy buffer from BravoCompany.

My question is WHICH buffer or does it matter??? They offer 3 different ones.

Heavy: Weighted with 1 tungsten and 2 steel weights
H2: Weighted with 2 tungsten and 1 steel weights
H3: Weighted with 3 tungsten weights

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would upgrade my extractor, run a 9mm or H3 buffer, and see what happens.

Note sure that going to a heavy buffer is the solve-all, especially if the firearm is already stroking correctly.

My thoughts would be to clean up the extractor (remove all the burs from the claw and rim relief channel), polish the chamber, and even go with Extra strength buffer spring and maybe even a D-fender on top of that if the stronger spring alone doesn't solve the problem with the dropped spent case (after debur’g and polishing the chamber).

Also, what ammo are you using? If poly coated wolf, it in it’s self could be causing problems with a new/rough/tight chamber.
