I just finished putting my first AR15 together and took it out for a test drive.  Everything works fine except you have to wiggle the safety lever after every shot.   If you shake the lever just a little, it clicks and you can then pull the trigger.  Anyone have a solution?

I had a problem like that long time ago I think I put the hammer spring in wrong
I would take apart your lower and try putting it back together again.

Are you sure the detent and spring are both in place for the selector/saftey switch.  Remove the pistol grip to check.  Also, make sure the grip is installed tightly.

Another possibility is the fit of the tail of the trigger and the clearance of the notch in the selector switch.  You can check this with the upper opened up.  If you dry fire it without the upper being fully installed be sure you do not let the hammer fall against the receiver as you can crack and completely ruin your lower.

Also, check and ensure you have installed your disconnector properly, and have the spring installed correctly in the trigger below the disconector, (Fat end down in the trigger).

Thanks guys I got it fixed.  Some idiot (oh, I guess that would be me) put the trigger spring in wrong.  It's a wonder it worked at all.
