Was at the gun range the other week and over heard two guys talking about a extractor problem. Was just wondering what size of a O-ring is it, And it justs slips over the extractor spring?

It is not an O-Ring but a special desgn for longevity to prevent it from being fatigued.  It slips over the extractor spring.  MGI gives it a lifetime warranty and will last the life of the bolt.

The D-ring and the Crane o-ring are two different things. The o-ring is a .060 size....BUT the Crane o-ring will not turn gooey under high heat, like the ones you buy from the hardware store. If you don't get your gun really hot a lot, one from the hardware store will work. If you want a Crane......can get them at adcofirearms.com/acc/ProductLine_.cfm?product_category=Upper%20Receivers/Parts&subcategory=Bolt%20Groups/Charging%20Handles  Don't sell the "D".

Hey HeavyMetal.......about your signature...........i was at a shoot many moons ago, and i heard a guy say that about 20 minutes before he put a round through the side of his almost new truck. He slung his rifle and a piece of his gear caught his trigger. Funny as hell, till you think "what if I was standing there".

Some idiot posted it in another thread on this very board yesterday.

Some people don't understand that any reasonible fascimile of a finger will do the same job.

If you can't fingure out how to automatically, subconsciously manipulate an AR safety when rasing and lowering the rifle, you should not even own a BB gun.

There is simply no downside to an AR safety, it is nearly psychic.  To not use it is to be short bus retarded.

Some posters and posts are so retarded, they should continue to suffer infamy.

I hope your idiot was informed never to attend the shoot again.

Whew...............for a minute i thought you might be advocating it. I am glad you cleared that up. I know the best safety is between the ears........but the firearm's safety must always be used. You are a smart man............we now return you to your regularly scheduled topic, already in progress.
