posted this in the ar discussion forum and it was suggested i do so here.

So I send my 16 inch fluted HBAR with izzy pinned brake (NYS AWB) to bushmaster to have a free float rail installed. Get it back about a week ago and take it up to the mountains over this past weekend.

Pop my aimpoint back on and set up a 50yd target. Nothing. Move it up to 25 yds. Nothing. !2.5 yds. 6 inchs low and 3 inches to the right. I then had to turn the elevation practically all the way down to bing the group up. Adjust the windage to bring the group to the left. Move the target back to 25 yds and still down to the right. Try using the irons and still shooting down to the right at.

Everything was dead on before they removed the izzy, Front sight base and added the rail and put everything back together.

Did they do something to my barrel that both my irons aqnd aimpoint are way off? Is it not set right into the A2 upper?

Any ideas?

I guess I'll have to send it back to bushmaster.

If you call them Bushmaster will definitely issue an RMA and test fire it.

There are a couple of potentials I can think of.

Some serious canting of the front sight block or canting of the barrel in the receiver.

Did you have the Izzy switched out to another brake or hider?

At 25 yards you should be low, but you're saying you could bring it up to not be low trying to sight it at 25 correct?

Yes I could not get it clsoe to being accurate.

They took off the izzy and put it right back on.
