Just so I don't have a problem, I'm asking for some info. Just installed a fixed stock and it has a little wiggle on the bottom to the left and right. Have I done something wrong in installing? Or is this normal?

Did you remember to install the receiver extension space for the a-2 stock?.

I will look like a smaller version of a Devo hat, and goes on the end of the buffer tube before you install the butt stock on the extension.  This takes up the 5/8 void for the longer A-2 stock.

it's a Sully stock, and it would be closest to an A1. The reason I ask is, the point where the stock connects, in the lower portion that goes in the lower recievers dimple has some play. Was wondering if this is normal in most fixed stocks.

Give the manufacture a call,

The stock when tightened shouldn't have any movement, and you may have one from a funky production run.
