[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Why does my Delta Ring move?

On my other uppers, the Delta rings have maybe a 64th or a 32nd movement, but my new upper's Delta Ring moves about 1/8".

With HG's on that effect is magnified and it's like the the HGs are rotating.

When I add the front vertical grip - it just gets worse.

Any suggestions

NEW RRA upper with Fluted barrel, built and shipped to me compete - I haven't touched it.

the delta ring doesn't keep your HGs from rotating. there are stops inside the HGs that engage the teeth of the barrel nut. those, combined with the fixed handguard cap, keep the HGs from rotating. the gap for the gas tube in the delta ring may be too large.

OK, I'll swap the HG's to another Upper and see if they rotate.

ETA - After some multiple HG and upper troubleshooting, apparently the stops inside the suspect HG's are very worn, Time for new Handguards.
