Got an Oly PCR 5 and can't get the front sight pin down far enough (to bring the barrel up) to battlesight zero for 25 meters. The pin is all the way down but the rifle still shoots about 3" low. Any ideas, short of getting out a file and shadetree gunsmithing? How about the colored sight pins from places like CTD - are they shorter?

Thanks,

Front sight post is screwed all the way down? Rear sight base is all the way down? Is it a standard front sight? Post height should be in the vicinity of .275". OAI makes a diff front sight (taller, made of drill rod) to be used with their det carry handle uppers. You'll know this one bc when the flange is flush with the top of the FSB the post will stick past the ears of the FSB. Possible they stuck one on your gun.

If it's not something simple like the above and it's under warranty send it back to them.
