Well, for the second time I did not have any luck. I am unable to zero my RRA Tac handle sight for 100 yards. Is there such a thing as an extended sight post so I can make even more elevation adjustments at the front sight for zeroing? With the rear base all the way down and the standard front post's base actually above the tower's platform(looking throught he aperature you can see the notch for the sight tool) I am shooting about 10" high. Any thought's? |

Hmmm, 10" is two more turns of the front sight, and it sounds like you are that much high already. Was it ever right, or is it new? Did the upper and handle come as a set? Are they supposed to work together? Are they both from the same source? If the reciever rail is taller than standard, the rear sight will be tall, and you would have this problem. If they are standard hieghts, then the barrel could be bent or some really crummy machining and/or gunsmithing occurred... If I had bought them new, I would send it back and ask the manufacturer to make it right. If it was assembled by a local source, go back to them. If the parts are just incompatible, see if you can seel the handle and buy a handle that is compatible. |
