So I was wondering what would cause an issue I'm having. To preface that I have a cmmg lpk and the trigger is installed correctly. The rounds are ejecting and reloading correctly the problem I'm having is the trigger is not resetting so I have to charge the charging handle and then it will fire one round and eject reload next shell nothing on the trigger reset. Any suggestions?

Might want to check if the trigger group is installed correctly. I might even contact CMMG about this. They have excellent customer service. Does the trigger reset properly when you rack/ dry fire it?

Check that your disconnector spring is installed fat end down, inside the trigger.

Springs are installed backwards.

Had the same problem with a new build recently. Eveything was installed correctly but trigger wouldn't reset unless I pushed it forward with my trigger finger. Disassembled the fire control group and discovered that the disconnector hook had a burr on the edge where it catches on the back ledge of the hammer (see drawings). Removed the burr with a file and polished both disconnector and hammer where they touch and everything runs perfectly now.
