So back in the early days of my AR introduction, I did not have many friends into AR's or really much of an idea of what I was doing. I bought some no name barrels and parts off eBay even bought a BCG off eBay when you still could.
Here comes my question: I have a BCG that I bought back before I knew better than to just buy no name parts. This one was supposed to be Nickle Boron coated. It came and it was SUPER dull, but I assumed that's just they way they were. Now it is flaking and such. It works great, it really runs well, but it is flaking all over. Is it possible to have a whole BCG + bolt recoated? If so - know of anyone who does that kind of work? I want something semi cheap if possible, basic coating. |

Probably going to be cheaper to replace it than having it re-plated. |
