I bought an Odin Works DMR barrel secondhand. The original owner had done a screwy job attempting to put his rifle together and had dimpled the barrel for the Odin Works gas block. Not only does this particular gas block not need dimpling (it uses self setting screws to attach), but the dimpling he used was slightly off center. I got the barrel (which is super nice otherwise) at a discount and it has (obviously) never been fired.
In terms of fixing it, I was considering purchasing a clamp on gas block to replace a slide on gas block and set screws, thus eliminating the need to have the dimples patched. Do you all think that will work? Thanks!! |

Or go buy a different gas block. What is the easiest thing for you to do here OP ? . |
