Get the engraving done before you start to finish the receiver. While it is still at 80% anybody can do the engraving for you, a trophy shop, jeweler, mall kiosk etc. But once you put the first hole in the receiver it can only be done by an FFL

FWIW that's just on the surface. If you want a deeper engraving you need to go with someone else.

He also does high power etching, he cuts info into lowers for SBR's.

Well disregard me then 

personally im buying a CNC desktop laser and going to cut my own to electro etch my lowers.
