Hello AR15 Forum,

So I'm starting a AR15 22LR build. I need some help I'm going with CMMG conversion kit and 16.1" barrel. Any suggestions on how I can use the Cookie Cutter Comp from Strike Industries, to where the comp sits flush with a handguard? Hand guard length to acvhieve that look?? Also, I know the buffer and spring aren't used. So if I just build a lower what can I use in the buffer tube, like a plug... any products out there?? Now I know I'm going to get why I'm going with a cookie cutter comp for a 22LR I'm going for just the look nothing else lol.

Thanks,

Second link, first picture with SBR has a cookie cutter flush with hand guard.

for starters, here's a plug if you're going with a pistol

is the lower going to be 22lr dedicated?  you could do a folding stock like this

otherwise, if you're going with a buffer tube, you could just take the buffer and spring out, leave it in or leave it in and use something like the taccom pressure plug.  I don't find it necessary on my 22 builds.

Thanks! And yes, I want it to be 22lr dedicated. I want all Magpul furniture on it. But really need help with the hand rail and cookie cutter, any help? Also, thanks I did see the plug but no I'm going for a 16" barrel build for target shooting and some small game hunting around the yard. I could use that plug if I put it where the buffer and spring, no??
