New to the forums here, and pretty novice with firearms. I recently bought a Glock and decided it was time to add to the collection.
My first AR build. Turned out pretty well, and no issues after 200 rounds. Currently looking into what optic set up I want to run, leaning heavily towards one of the Trijicon AccuPowers. Mega Arms Upper and Lower receivers BCM BCG BCM KMR Hand guard BCM Standard 16" Mid Length (ENHANCED LIGHT WEIGHT - FLUTED) Barrel and Mod 1 Compensator BCM Mod 3 Grip, Buffer, and Stock BCM Trigger 
That KMR hand guard gets hot really quick, so I picked up some BCM rail covers and a KAG 
And with my buddy's Ruger gas/piston AR

Lots of different Accupower scopes from 1-4x24 up to 4-16x50. Each scope is intended for a different mission.
Whether you go the Accupower route of select some other scope, you should think hard about how you will use this rifle, because you need the abilities of the scope to match how you will use the rifle. What would you say, how would you describe how you will be using this rifle? |

No get some ammo, mags, a sling and a light. And shoot it lots! Cheers! -JC And that's exactly what I did! So far I've put about 2500 rounds through it. Recently picked up a Trijicon MRO, 9 more PMAGS, 1200 rounds of PMC through Slickguns, got my BFG Vickers sling and an Inforce WMLx. Also have the BCM foregrip to test and see how I like it. |

What would you say, how would you describe how you will be using this rifle? I actually ended up picking up a Vortex VMX-3T magnifier. I had a gift card to BassPro for $200 and figured why not. I love it so far, set it up to flip to the right to stay out of my field of view (mostly) and it's been pretty good so far. The rifle is a combination of SHTF and training for SHTF (So in short, SHTF). I am definitely still a novice and am simply seeking to better prepare myself to handle "less than ideal" situations. 
Went out to the desert yesterday, my buddy brought out more than usual. That Judge was pretty fun, rear sights are weird on it though. 
My other buddy does remodeling and has an endless supply of doors.

Just over 2000 rounds through it, still no issues.
Ended up finding a steal on an optic right here in the classifieds. Traded my MRO and magnifier for this beautiful AccuPower with the .223 BDC reticle in green. Very happy with it so far, but I'm replacing the moung with something a littler lower.
