Locked in the forward position, how to fix? please help

What do you mean "forward position"? Like, collapsed?
What kind of Magpul stock do you have? MOE? CTR? etc.

It possibly rode up onto the threads of the buffer tube; they're likely digging into the polymer. Get a good grip, squeeze the release lever and give it a hearty yank.

that sounds right I thin it did dig into the buffer tube threads I will need to pull hard and getter out. I need a partner on this one lol
