Well as stated I'll be starting my first build soon enough. I purchased an SAA lower yesterday and ordered the PSA freedom lower parts build. Hopefully I don't have to wait forever for the kit to arrive.

As far as an upper I know I want a 1:8 barrel twist with a midlength gas tube. Excited to get this started.

If what you ordered was in stock, you won't wait long. They're pretty quick on shipping. Have fun!

Well it said it was in Stock so I hope so. Currently undecided on whether I want to order a better trigger or use the one in the kit. Not exactly sure what all the fuss is about with all of these aftermarket triggers.

For your consideration, http://www.shtfblog.com/diy-ar-15-trigger-job-for-17-06/

I did this on my last build and ended up with a very smooth trigger.

When assembling, remember, building an AR is like anal sex.  Lots of lube and ease it in gently.
