I never had so much fun in building anything that I can remember. Because of my fixed income, I had to go slow and conservative. I bought a used (new), Anderson lower.
Could not wait to finish her and fire that first shot. I was soo excited I forgot to follow my progress with photos. My first shot was a winner although I was having intermittent
misfires. Got home took it apart and inspected the fire control system. After comparing it to my Colt I found the problem. My hammer spring was upside down. but, I did not let that bother me much. I located the problem and fixed it, that made me feel great. I will add a picture here shortly.

That's the beauty of building it yourself, from detail parts. You can fix anything that goes wrong yourself. No gunsmithing at all required. - CW

Nice rifle.
After assembling your first, you'll likely never go back to buying a complete. You get what you want in one shot.
