I'm thinking of doing the DIY Low Profile Gas Block job on a carbine length gas system, but with an extended handguard. I would like to order the handguard but I'm not sure it will fit over the DIY gas block and wondering if anyone has done this? If not, I'll probably just stick with the carbine length handguard.

I did. Find out the ID of the rail and measure your assembly to determine

I've done a few. It'll probably fit. Ask the manufacturer if their rail will fit over a cut down A2 FSB. Try to leave the bayonet lug just to piss off Hillary
